Dairy Day 2017 will kick off next week at Punchestown Event Centre. This event is being organised by the Irish Farmers Journal in association with Bord Bia. It takes place on Thursday 23 November 2017 from 10am to 7pm in the Punchestown Event Centre, near Naas, Co. Kildare.

EASYFIX attends Dairy Day 2017

EASYFIX will have a full range of housing solutions on display at Dairy Day including our flexible cow cubicles, cow mats, slat rubber systems, parlour matting, feed lane matting and walkway solutions. Our stand at Dairy Day will be located in D41 and our dairy housing experts will be available to discuss any up coming projects.

National & International Speakers

The event has both conference and exhibition elements with the chairpersons of some of the biggest Irish dairy processors attending and contributing to the forum. We will take a look at what is happening outside Ireland with commentary and analysis from Craig Bell, US Dairy market analyst and Lettismo director, Greg Gent, dairy farmer and former Fonterra director and Harm Holman, dairy farmer and former FrieslandCampina director. Interactive Skills Hub

There will be an interactive skills and demonstration hub hosted by Dairy Specialist Aidan Brennan running from 10am to 4pm with topics being covered including How to milk properly and more efficiently, How to mobility score and body condition score, Cashflow budgeting – how important, Tools for measuring and managing grass, Modernising farm infrastructure for more cows and Time and people management.

How to get your tickets

The event is open to the public from 10am to 7pm and tickets are €15 or free entry if you collect 3 tokens from the Irish Farmers Journal newspaper. Parking is free on site and Punchestown Event Centre will be signposted from all major routes.  A special Dairy Day publication is available in the Irish Farmers Journal newspaper this Thursday.
