The countdown is well underway to Ireland’s largest Summer Racing Festival, The Galway Races. EASYFIX have a long association with the Galway Races and are delighted to be sponsoring the EASYFIX Handicap Hurdle for the 10th year in a row.

On Monday July 31st there are seven races in total, with the first kicking off at 5.10pm. The EASYFIX Handicap Hurdle follows at 5.40pm. We are delighted to be associated with other local Galway businesses on the opening day of the Summer Festival – such as, The Galmont Hotel & Spa, The Galway Bay Hotel, Claregalway Hotel, Clayton Hotel, The Connacht Hotel, Eventus and Monami Construction.

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Galway Races for 10 years now. We’re going there since we were kids, every summer we would look forward to the last week in July and the excitement around it! The improvements made to the Racing Festival are a testament to John & Michael Maloney and long may it continue!

Last year, the Summer Racing Festival attracted over 145,000 visitors. At the launch of the Summer Festival in late June, The Galway Races Team revealed a list of exciting additions to the 2023 Summer Festival.

This year brings much excitement with, over €2M in prizemoney to be won, best dressed lady competitions on Thursday & Friday, over 50 acts of entertainment and more! An introduction of the ‘Kiss Cam’ is the newest addition to the Racecourse this year and a first for Horse Racing in Ireland!

EASYFIX Hurdles and Racecourse Chase Fences have been installed in the Galway Racecourse since 2010. These hurdles and fences are designed in-house by our product development team. They are extremely durable, easy to install and are maintenance free. The parade ring at the racecourse is also fitted with EASYFIX Max Grip Matting. We have also most recently installed our Diamond Deluxe Stable Matting in the veterinary box.
