Beef Producers will be heading to Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 30th for the National Cattle Housing Symposium. Leading beef consultant nutritionist Dr. Thomas Peters is hosting the event, which is sure to be of major interest to cattlemen in 2017.
Commenting on the event Dr. Peters said, “This is a day-long symposium led by industry experts. Presentations will focus on cattle facilities, operations, health, nutrition, and management, all with an emphasis on cattle performance optimization.”
The last housing symposium was in held 2013, over 350 producers gained an insight into many aspects of beef production and in particular the pros and cons of various beef production systems.
This year’s event will be a follow on, with a producer panel including a large Irish Beef producer, information on important topics such as VFD’s impact since their introduction, manure handling, and much more.
The event takes place at the Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel & conference center in Sioux Falls SD. March 30th, 2017.
